About Whop Video Downloader

Whop Video Downloader is a SERP Apps browser extension built specifically for saving content from Whop as standard files you can keep. It detects Whop videos, images, and text posts on course pages, lesson pages, and community posts.

Whop streams course videos in a way that blocks normal right-click saving, and media can be nested inside layered page structures that generic downloader tools miss. This extension is built for that Whop-specific structure so detected content is organized by type inside the browser popup.

Use it for offline study, personal backups of purchased content, and creator archive workflows. The extension uses your existing Whop access and is intended for content you own or have permission to save.

Walkthrough

How it Works

No command line, no screen recording, and no extra workflow outside your browser.

01

Install the extension

Add SERP Whop Downloader from the product page or install the latest release manually from GitHub.

02

Open your Whop content

Navigate to the Whop course, lesson, or community post you want to save.

03

Press play for videos

Start playback when you want a video download so the stream is exposed to the page and the extension can detect it.

04

Save what you need

Download items individually, use an overlay button on a video player, or choose Download Visible for the active tab.

Features

Everything it does

Core capabilities included in the downloader experience.

  • Whop-aware media detection

Scans Whop course, lesson, community, and post pages for videos, image assets, and text content that generic downloaders often miss.

  • Overlay buttons on videos

Adds in-page download controls to supported Whop video players once the video stream is available.

  • Bulk Download Visible action

Captures all currently detected videos, images, and text items in the active tab after the content has loaded.

  • Tabbed popup for videos, images, and text

Organizes detected Whop content into separate tabs so you can review counts, previews, and available downloads by content type.

  • Automatic MP4 handling

Prepares detected video streams as standard MP4 files when the source media supports it.

  • Download queue with progress

Shows active downloads and completion status inside the browser workflow while files are saved.

  • Built for authenticated Whop sessions

Uses the Whop page you can already access in your browser and does not bypass creator permissions or paywalls.

  • No extra desktop app required

Runs as a browser extension on supported desktop browsers, with files saved through the browser download manager.

Desktop extension

Install the Chrome build from the SERP Extensions listing or use the latest GitHub release.

We recommend using the ZIP version from the GitHub release when available. It lets us ship the most complete build, including features that browser stores do not always allow.
